About "Awesome"

I was asked to compose a "theme song" for the Awesome 3000, which has been held the first Saturday in May for over 40 years.  It is the largest children-only "race" in the country, and includes children from kindergarten through 8th grade.  Every child receives a medal at the finish line; there are no awards for the "top" finishers.  The theme song was played as each group of children assembled for their run (by grade and gender).

This version is all digital (MIDI), as I knew it would be played through a stadium PA system.  I plan to re-record it in the near future using live acoustic instruments.
About "Lullaby"

This piece was composed, performed, and recorded in March, 2017.  It is dedicated to our first grandchild, Nora Linley Strum (aka Peanut), who was welcomed into the world on March 30, 2017.

It is not intended to be a virtuoso piano work.  Rather, it is meant to convey what I feel in my heart at this very special time.
